| In this course, the focus will be on details of nature in Persian miniature paintings. We will look into trees, rocks, and different types of flowers, and practice how to draw and paint them using Persian miniature techniques. Through a series of practical demonstrations, including traditional paper treatments, pigment preparation, and brush techniques, students will prepare their own papers and paints to be used for their paintings.
By the end of the course, students will have a basic, practical understanding of how natural elements are drawn, and painted with traditional methods and materials. |
